2 Tip #3: Annotation Submission type The Assignment submission type, Student Annotation, can be used when you upload a file for students to annotate and submit directly in Canvas. It may be useful, for example, with a worksheet or feedback on a document. The annotated document is submitted as the student ’ s assignment submission.
